Sperm motility refers to how effectively sperm move, and more importantly, whether they can move forward toward the egg. Without proper movement, even a normal sperm count may not result in fertilisation. Globally, male factor infertility contributes to nearly 40–50% of infertility cases, and motility issues form a significant portion of these cases. This makes low sperm motility treatment one of the most important aspects of male fertility care.
